I know…I’ve been a bit slack on updating the diary but I’ve been busy bee. Hope you are all sitting comfortably because this may take a while…well, we did get to meet some real cowboys so excuse me for going on a bit!!! Sharon left and I had two weeks to kill in LA before I was meeting Clare in Dallas. On the first evening after Sharon left I kind of felt a bit lonesome so decided to go up the Road to the a place called the Farmers Market. ...More...

3 Sep 2004 : Vancouver, Whistler and Victoria - Canada 2nd Installment - this time from Canada9 photos attached
On the Road again... and it took absolutely ages to get through the border, but eventually we arrived in Vancouver, Canada. What a nice city! And sooooooooo cheap!! Even better than the US! We took a walk around Gastown, which is the oldest part of the city. It's very pretty with lots of old buildings and shops. We then came across the Vancouver Lookout and took a ride up, fantastic view! We also found Chinatown, which was not very nice at all, a bit scary to be honest. However we did find the Chinese Garden, which was beautiful. ...More...

Well it has been a while since my last entry…lots of adventures so hope you are all sitting comfortably!! I left Magnetic Island and travelled onto Airley Beach. Nice place, although it has no beach only a lagoon and there is only one main Road so it was a quiet place. From here I did my Sailing Trip around the Whitsunday Islands which was pretty amazing. I sailed on a tall ship (ships with lots of sails) named the Derwin Hunter and spent 3 days sunning myself, going snorkelling and lying on the most amazing beaches. ...More...

Well, I guess it is time for entry number 2… I've done a few trips since leaving Sydney but I guess I better start at the beginning. My first trip was to Alice Springs and the 3 day safari into the Outback to see Uluru, i.e. 'The Rock'. This trip was pretty amazing and I've met some really nice people. We started of at a Camel Farm, which, it still being only 8am in the morning, I kind of gave a miss and had a coffee instead. (We did leave Alice Springs at 6AM!). Our next stop was the Kings Canyon. ...More...

Well, here it is finally, what everyone has been waiting for, the news from Down Under! What can I say? All of you who have been to Sydney already know what a fantastic city it is and all of you that haven’t been, get your butts over here! There is so much to do, and trust me, I’ve done tons in the last couple of weeks and still won’t have time to do all of it before I move on. ...More...
